A sweet holiday themed novel about a grumpy guy and his sunshine bright neighbour. With last names like Frost and Holiday I feel like it was pretty obvious where this was heading. The romance was low angst and lots of sugary goodness. I didn't really feel like the attraction between them was sparking off the pages, but it was alright. I enjoyed the neighbourhood app - the author put little messages the neighbours had posted at the start of each chapter - and it worked really well to include other characters and community without actually having to write scenes with them. It gave added depth to the relationship between Gideon and Paul. Overall it was a lighthearted fun read. 2.5 stars, rounded up to 3.
