**I received a copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review. All opinions expressed are 100% my own.**

I have to say that I sincerely wish that my previous church had read this book prior to searching for the pastor they currently have. I feel that they may not have lost as many long-time church members as they did after the new pastor's installation.

Dr. Page takes an approach to helping churches look for a new pastor that is both interesting and helpful. He not only gives them 10 questions to both ask and answer, he also gives information on things to avoid, things that you won't hear from the pastoral candidates, and even includes an appendix of questions to ask pastoral candidates ranging from their personal lives to beliefs about Scripture.

This book was very enlightening and I plan to purchase a copy to give to my church for the inevitable event of them needing to search for a new pastor - because we should all know that none of us can keep our pastor forever. This book earns a solid four stars, if only because it does use some terms that laypersons may not know.
