4.5 Stars I was waffling between 4 or 5 stars so did the halfer. :)

Lord, but I loved Wes. Loved Mal. HATED Mal's parents. Loved Wes' family. I loved watching Mal develop his first friendship and felt so joyful when he finally realized that it was more! But by the end of the book, a sense of melancholy settled over me because, while it is HFN, I fear for Wes... realistically how many of us end up in a HEA with our first crush? Oh Ms. Welsh, it's all your fault. Throwing that girl at Mal when he knows so little about himself yet. ;)
