K. J. Charles is became one of my favorite authors after I've read her 'Charm of Magpies' series, and with this one she's get up my list even higher. Probably top 3.
Honestly I'm not a fan of historical fiction, but for some reason with her writing style and well thought - out characters it works for me perfectly.
I'm definetely going to re-read this book because it's the best book I've ever read about CONSENT inside the relationships and about personal boundaries, about self - sacrifice and... Sugar beets😂
I loved this one with my whole heart and can't wait to treat myself with Charles' other works.
