A Stardance Summer by Emily March

A Stardance Summer (Eternity Springs, #13)

by Emily March

"Brick Callahan enjoys every minute of chaos at his campground, Stardance Ranch, especially after the Tornado Alleycats arrive for an extended summer stay. The members of the all-female glamorous camping club are primarily seniors--active and adventurous, friendly and fun. But when he discovers Liliana Howe frolicking with the glamping grannies in a late night skinny-dipping session, he fears he's in for a summer of trouble"--Amazon.com.

This is part of a series but definitely may be read as a standalone, that is what I did. I had no idea that this was a series but I am beyond happy that there are so many more books for me to read in this series! Lili has just lost her job, her parents, for reasons of their own, are not supportive and seem not to care that Lili has been wrongly accused by her employers of doing something that she would never do. I felt sympathetic towards Lili right from the start and could not stand her parents. Lili decides to do something out of character and joins her elderly landlady's (very wealthy landlady) Tornado Alleycats. Off Lili goes to Stardance Ranch in Colorado built by none other that Brick Callahan AKA Mark , Lili's childhood crush. These Alleycats are glampers and are also a fun bunch of women and I thought that they added lots of character to this book. I know it seems like a "coincidence" that Brick , the hot hot high school crush just happens to be at Stardance Ranch and Lili just decides on a whim to ditch everything and go glamping but you know what? IT WORKED!! I adored this book and the sweet and sassy romance between Lili and Brick that was slow but a bit steamy at times. There are so many interesting side characters in this book with their own back stories as well and I look forward to going back and reading some of the previous books in this series.

Lili becomes a stronger woman throughout the story and finally comes into her own. I was rooting for Brick AKA Mark all along and loved the ending of this story. What a great book with a small town setting with lots of interesting , maybe quirky characters. This review was originally posted on Cindy's Book Binge
