This book was really short, only 127 pages, but it was stock full photographs dating back to 1910.
And with each photo there was information that I had not even known.

Now I thought I was fairly sure about most of Seabrook and several other coastal towns.
I used to fish the bays from LaPorte to the west side of Galveston. So I thought I was pretty
familiar.

However, this book really opened my eyes to some things I only thought I knew.
First there were Indian tribes, then Jean Lafitte, then a small land grant from the Mexican government in 1832.
And from there we a great history for Seabrook!
