Mister McHottie is a standalone, enemies to lovers romantic comedy that is told in the first-person point of view of Chase and Ambroisa.

Ambrosia is the social media manager at the country’s second-largest organic grocery store which is known for growing its own products in store. She lives in an apartment that has an interesting neighbour upstairs that Ambrosia calls “Hogzilla”. Ambrosia is not happy when she finds out that Chase Jett, the one she gave her virginity to and also landed her in jail, has just bought Crunchy. She figures her job is over now because she swears she is going to get fired but when Chase keeps everyone, Ambrosia swears she is not going to let Chase win ever again. Ambrosia is determined to get even.

Chase was the boy from the wrong side of the tracks who had nothing but when an app that he created turns him into a billionaire he is living life to the fullest. On his first day at Crunchy, he runs into Bro (Ambrosia) and can not believe his eyes. The tension between Chase and Ambrosia could be cut with a knife. To say they do not like each other is an understatement. Chase finds Ambrosia at Crunchy head office late one night and they end up having angry sex in the elevator while Ambrosia’s friends booby trap Chase’s office. When Ambrosia’s brothers show up, as much as Chase missed having them in his life he can not take much more of them and their pranks.

This was my first novel by Pippa Grant and since reading this I am going on a Pippa Grant binge read. Mister McHottie had me laughing so hard I was crying. The banter between Chase and Ambrosia was classic, add in her brothers Zeus and Ares and all the pranks and you can not help but die laughing. I recommend this book to everyone! Mister McHottie is a great enemies to lovers story.
