Oh, Kennedy Ryan does this to me every time. She beautifully brings two people together and then tears them apart. I never worry, however, because I know she will fix things in the next book, and Kennedy does right by me with Down to My Soul.

You're not my ex. You're my always.

Again, Ryan delivers a sexy romance with lots of heart and emotion. This isn't just the story of Kai and Rhyson, but also a story of growth and forgiveness, love and understanding.

Love her through her mistakes.

Both of our MCs are damaged by their pasts, and are unable to have the relationship they desire until they deal with that past. I liked getting some insight into why they do the things they do, by getting to examine Rhyson's and Kai's "baggage". The issues with Kai's dad are addressed (some "WHOA!" moments with this one), and Rhyson works on extending an olive branch to his estranged family.

One thing, that was fun for me, was the little mystery. I had three suspects, who I eliminated during the story. I enjoyed trying to figure out what will happen and who is involved (and BTW, I guessed right!)

In the end, I was engulfed in the epic love story of Kai and Rhyson. There were so many beautiful moments, and lots that made me swoon.

Deep calls out to deep.
