This was a fast read, but I had trouble connecting with the main characters. I felt they needed a little more fleshing out and I wish I could have learned more about the Puma world. When Emma found out that Max was, essentially, a werecat, she took it with remarkable ease. Her attitude about it seemed flippant and considering this was her introduction into a paranormal world, unrealistic. I’m not sure if I want to read the next one in the series.
