Caffeinated Reasons to grab your earbuds and devour The Hot One

If like me, you love second chance romances that are realistic, sweet and transforming you will love THE HOT ONE. From the reasons for the initial breakup to the renewed courtship dance Blakley had me smiling, swooning and laughing out loud. Blakley hooked me in Central Park and had me smiling at the way these two met again.

Dual perspectives deliver all the feels. We get inside both Delaney, and Tyler's head offered us a deeper connection. Both characters are loveable, and it was fun hearing their thoughts, mainly Delaney's as she tried to decide whether to trust Tyler. I love that both are successful and confident. Blakley skipped drama and miscommunication with this romance and instead gave us a book boyfriend to swoon over. The man groveled and laid his soul bare.

Deliciously witty banter, snark, and heat! Whether you are listening or reading, you will love the chemistry between Delaney and Tyler. It felt genuine, and when Blakley turns up the heat, you melt.

Courtship, six-toed cats, wigs, and heat fill the pages offering the reader an excellent escape. I loved seeing other characters from previous books. Both Tyler and Delaney are well grounded and have strong friendships. It was fun seeing them seek advice. I laughed as Tyler's friends urged caution because the more I got to know Tyler the more, I knew he would throw caution to the wind.

Zachary Webber was a new to me narrator. Sebastian York usually narrates for Blakley, but Webber delivered. I enjoyed his tone and will seek him out on other audios. Andi Arndt captures Delaney making this enjoyable from start to finish.

Believe in the magic of second chances and grab THE HOT ONE for your very own. This review was originally posted at Caffeinated Book Reviewer
