This is the fifth part of this serial Cinderella retelling by Rachel Morgan. In this part of the story Elle has gotten herself entangled with the Godmother. She has used her wish to saved Dex from his darkness sickness. Now Dex is well and whole but Elle is still stuck in her enslavement to her evil stepmother and she has no way to rescue her step sister. In order to continue on she must complete a quest for the Godmother and who knows what the fall out from this will be. I am totally in awe of the craftiness that our author has wrapped up in this retelling. I was not sure i would enjoy the story as much as I would if i had the whole thing at once. I have to say the excitement that is built from having to wait for the next part is almost the best kind of way to read a book. It like the cliff hanger for your favorite television series every time you pick the book up. I don’t want it to end but i know it going to. Pick up this amazing serial novels you won’t regret it.
