Brooke is hoping for a fresh start as she begins her first year of college. She is weighed down by her past, and wants to immerse herself in a place where she is virtually unknown. Andrew, Drew, is the star quarterback and a known man-whore, who sets his sights on Brooke.

Sounds like like your typical NA romance, and it is, for the first half of the book, but then all the nefarious plots are revealed, and it's like a whole new book.

Many of the reviews I read keep saying "angsty", and I have to agree. I would also say over-the-top drama. That is not necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes you want that level of drama, and as a girl who kept watching One Tree Hill in those later years, you can say I like that type of stuff. However, I think maybe there was too much. There was the one thing with TJ and then the other thing with TJ. Oh, and Scott and Tatum and London and the coach and you see what I am saying.

Overall, I was entertained and enjoyed the book. I really liked the ending, so I had a last good impression.
