I stumbled into this series by first reading one of the spinoffs - [b:Boss in the Bedsheets|53667619|Boss in the Bedsheets|Kate Canterbary|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1590858113l/53667619._SX50_.jpg|73344216] and was surprised how moving the story was; even though I was mainly interested in some hot and steamy scenes (we are in a global pandemic jeez what else am I gonna do for fun besides stay at home and read?!?) I decided to start the Walshes series immediately after finishing Boss in the Bedsheets and have read one a day for the past several days. . . Look, I came to this series for some smut - fine judge me all you want. What I did not effing expect was to be so goddamned gutted reading these books. Erin's story finally comes out and it is sooo heartbreaking. But damn if it isn't an incredibly touching addition to the already rich series.
