This cover is OK. A little generic in my opinion but I can picture the model as Noah. It's got good composition and unique title work as well. Similar to book one and two so good unity throughout the trilogy.
Book three picks up immediately after book two. Noah's team has been attacked and hurt. Lucia is convinced Rafe may still be alive and takes matters into her own hands to figure it out. Secrets are revealed, and trust is both earned and broken.
This has been an enjoyable series overall. The writing is great. The pace of this one was super fast. There were twists and turns. Loads of action. Some hot sex scenes. I'm still loving all the secondary characters and cannot wait until we get JJ and Jonas's book. Both Lucia and Noah remained likable for the most part. I did struggle a little with their connection in this one. I guess I was expecting them to grow more as a couple but it felt a bit like they were just stagnating in the same type of relationship since book one ended. I don't know, I'm finding it hard to explain. They were just missing something.
This installment for me at least was the weakest of the trio. It felt a bit underdeveloped overall, and the plot felt rushed. With an ending that was a bit anti-climatic. That said, I am assuming that the overall plot will continue through the books of the secondary characters so I wasn't overly bothered by it.
