I received an ARC through NetGalley.

Kiss Me at Midnight is a very sweet and very sexy New Year’s Eve novella all about second chances. Nine years ago, Ashley lost her best friend and still has no idea why. Starting New Year’s Eve of their senior year, Ethan just stopped talking to her and ignored her completely. Then he left right after graduation and she hasn’t seen or heard from him since. That is, until he taps on her shoulder offering to buy her a drink without realizing it’s her. Ashley and Ethan both had intentions of picking up someone for the night, but didn’t expect it to be each other. Now old flames are being reignited!

I really, really enjoyed Kiss Me at Midnight. I loved how neither of them played games. They were up front about their intentions, and even got their feelings about their falling out out of the way. The sex was also super hot, and that had to be the most tension filled game of bowling ever! Of course, Ashely and Ethan have to fall in love despite their sex only weekend, and Ethan runs away like he always does. But they do get their happily ever after in the end, and I was left with a smile on my face.
