Falling for the Groomsman is the first book of the Wedding Dare series, a series contributed to by different authors all centred around the destination wedding of Kady Dresco and Colton Brooks. The bridesmaids have a pact to hook up and each woman sets her sights on a man. Or the man sets his sights on the woman. Either way.

In this one, Kady's older brother, Tyler Dresco and her best friend, Christine Forsythe are the couple. (On a related note, Christine's younger brother, Jake Forsythe, is the main character of Diane Albert's other book, Stealing His Heart.)

I can't say I loved the story in this one. This is somewhat of a second chance romance. They didn't have a relationship but they have slept together before. These sorts of romances are always hit and miss for me. I generally don't like second chance romances but occasionally one slips through - like the prequel, Dare to Resist. This one was a miss. I just didn't like either character enough to care. I just wanted to shake them both. That said, it's not badly written, if you do like second chance romance this is a decently written one. But for me it was too much of a terrible plot. 2 stars.
