This was an interesting one. A hot shot quarterback in need of an image makeover and a local artist trying to save her fledgeling art studio. I'm not sure if a marriage of convenience between our two leading characters was absolutely necessary, but it sure did make for an entertaining read.

Jared was gun shy when it came to press and the honestly of those he allows to be close to him. He's been burned a number of times and his need to change his image with a fake marriage was due to someone using him to better their own circumstance. He doesn't trust in his own feelings either, especially when it comes to his fake wife, Sheridan. He fights against his feelings, especially considering their marriage contract, but when he finally trusts himself, his feelings and Sheridan he gets everything that he was craving.

Sheridan had issues that prevented her from truly trusting in her feelings for Jared. She wanted to protect herself from having her heart torn by someone she was in love with. She puts things in place to protect herself from Jared, but she finds that while Jared stays away from her it's her own wants and desires that make her want so much more from Jared.

A quick, steamy read and another awesome entry into Entangled Publishing's Brazen line. Definitely one to pick up.
