Did not exceed the level of excitement of the first book "Girl Online", this one focuses more on Penny and Noah's relationship, how she tries to put other's happiness before her. Well, this is normal - the situation explained here is normal for teenagers (and even on their 20's!) to put other's happiness first before them because that's what love is. It's not bad but you shouldn't lose yourself in the process. Be supportive but enough for you to live on your own as well and have the support you deserve and not be dependent on other's. Noah's story is difficult as well, since he's on the verge of his stardom and following his dreams, however there are people (his band mates and manager) who somehow affects in his decisions and the way he treats his loved ones, especially Penny. It also talks about Elliot's relationship and how he deals with it.
