I had about a week's break in the middle (literal middle, I think) of this book, and it lessened my attachment to it, especially given the repetitive nature of the characters' thoughts. I'm not sure if it was tell-y or just repetitive, but it had me skimming, especially toward the end.

All the games Adrian and Evie played with each other were a tad ridiculous too.
