She Loves Me is a friends to lovers romance which is told from the third-person point of view which can be read as a standalone or as the third novel in the Harmony Pointe series.
Piper had her heart broken years ago by Harley's younger brother, Marshall, and put her walls up and has been a strong independent woman ever since. Working in a male-driven industry, Piper is not interested in becoming soft and hanging up her hammer and tool belt any time soon, no matter how much Harley flirts with her. After severely spraining his ankle, Harley is forced to rest until it gets better and when Piper is the one to pick him up from the hospital he feels this is the perfect time to make her realize that he has wanted her for years and that she should give him a chance to prove he is worthy of demolishing her walls for.
Melissa has done it again with another amazing novel that will tug at your heartstrings as well as have you laughing out loud. The witty and snarky banter between Harley and Piper will have you laughing out loud while the revelations will tug at your heartstrings. My favourite moment of the book was when I had my "ah-ha" moment when the title clicked and all I could picture was Harley and Jiggs dancing around singing "She loves me, she really loves me", lol. Harmony Pointe has become my second favourite Melissa Foster series as there is always a point in the novels that sticks with you that you never forget and is dangerously close to knocking The Whiskeys: The Dark Knights at Peaceful Harbor off that pedestal. Harley Dutch has officially tied Bear Whiskey as my favourite Melissa Foster character.
