I received an ARC through NetGalley.

I will never think of tater tots the same way again! Eat Play Lust is a delightfully delicious, bite sized romance. At just under 50 pages, it manages to cram in a hilarious and sexually charged yoga session, a dash of “food issues,” gourmet tater tots, sex, and a happy ending! Cami is a yoga instructor who has developed an addiction to junk food after being raised in a house where everything was fat-free, dairy-free, carb-free, and taste-free! Her biggest weakness is, of course, tater tots. Paul is a gourmet chef who needs to exercise a bit more, so he signs up for private paddle board lessons with Cami. A junk food junkie and a gourmet chef are certainly an odd pairing, but their dinner date was funny, adorable, and sexy!

Eat Play Lust only covers a few hours, but it certainly satisfied my craving for a cute yet steamy romance! The only thing that I didn’t really like it about it was how Cami’s “food issues” were handled. She has this inner voice that makes comments about her food choices and weight, and that was kind of annoying. However, she magically overcomes it by the end when Paul introduces her to a more varied menu of gourmet junk food and tells her it’s okay to eat this stuff in moderation. He should know, he’s a chef. I think this attempt at deeper problems could have been left out, and Cami could have just had a guilty pleasure, and the story would have been the same. But I still really enjoyed this romance.
