When I first realized this book was about the song Yours by Russell Dickerson, I knew I had to get it like now. This is one of my favorite songs it has so much emotion and just lots of feels. I can't tell you know often I think of stories in my head about how this song would play out in real life. Well Jasinda did it for me and did a pretty good job. I pretty much sang this book. Like I would sing the song in my head while I read it and every chapter title was a verse from the long. Which made me sing it even more.

Niall James is a nurse married to a doctor Oliver James, they met and started to work together with Doctors Without Borders. One tragic night everything Niall had was taken away. Ollie was gone and Niall's life was shattered. Ollie was an organ donor and someone that will change Niall's life has Ollie's heart. Lachlan Montgomery has a death wish, seriously, the doctors don't expect him to live past thirty because of a history with his heart. After doing all sorts of crazy stuff on his 31st birthday his heart gives out. When Lachlan wake to find he is still alive and with someone's heart, he sets out to find who it belong to but never expected to fall in love.

I really wasn't sure what I was expecting in this book but it really was amazing, it didn't make me cry like I had hoped it would and I did really like Lachlan and Niall, I thought things kinds of moved along rather quickly and a lot of the book was some filler. For example when Lachlan wanted to "find himself worthy" It took longer than I would have liked and I would have liked more relationship build because that seems really quick. Regardless I still rather enjoyed the story and thought it was done very well following along with the song. The flow of the words were almost lyrical. I really did love this story and I loved the characters just wish it had a few more secondary characters to build the story a little bit more.

I did enjoy it, just think it needed something more. I would surely recommend this book, it really is a great read even with my little minor issues. I really did  love how the story fit the song so perfectly. Well done!
