In the second Up in the Air book, readers learned more about why Bianca was reserved. And she had very good reasons for her aloofness and her shyness. James, however, wanted to be with her no matter what. Even if his earlier stipulations about not dating seemed to be put aside here.

Stephan was still very much present, and he just might be the character I enjoyed the most throughout the Up in the Air series. I enjoyed how James made an effort to get to know Bianca’s friends, because it made it more realistic that he really wanted to be with her.

All is not rose in Mile High, though, and the way the suspense kept creeping in made me anxious for the next instalment in Up in the Air as well.
