More like 3.5 stars in reality. The story was good, and the hero was a delight - kind, patient, confident. The heroine was rather unsynpathetic though, despite her tragic back story. The fake relationship didn't quite satisfy my craving for the trope. The joy of fake dating lies in the push and pull, never quite knowing whether the affection is real or just a show. Arrabella, however, doesn't seem to be into it at all, despite agreeing to the relationship. His Countess for a Week was a bit of a mixed bag, saved by a delightful hero in Randolph.
