The Husband's Secret by Liane Moriarty

The Husband's Secret

by Liane Moriarty

SOON TO BE A MAJOR MOTION PICTURE—THE #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER FROM THE AUTHOR OF BIG LITTLE LIES AND HERE ONE MOMENT

At the heart of The Husband’s Secret is a letter that’s not meant to be read…

My darling Cecilia,
If you’re reading this, then I’ve died…

Imagine your husband wrote you a letter, to be opened after his death. Imagine, too, that the letter contains his deepest, darkest secret—something with the potential to destroy not only the life you built together, but the lives of others as well. And then imagine that you stumble across that letter while your husband is still very much alive...

Cecilia Fitzpatrick has achieved it all—she’s an incredibly successful businesswoman, a pillar of her small community, and a devoted wife and mother. But that letter is about to change everything—and not just for her. There are other women who barely know Cecilia—or each other—but they, too, are about to feel the earth-shattering repercussions of her husband’s secret.

This review was originally posted on Star Crossed Reviews This book has been sitting on my shelf for quite a while. I won it in a giveaway and it has sat there since. This book is a little outside of what I would normally read. I see this as more of a grown ups book and deep down I’m still a teenage girl looking for the one. I have to say I did enjoy reading a book that was out of my comfort zone.

This book follows 3 women Rachel, Cecilia and Tess. I loved the way these three women who knew nothing about each other have their lives so intertwined in just a few weeks.

While I guessed the secret before it was revealed I didn’t guess how it was going to play out and I found this very interesting. Without giving too much away this story will keep you gripped to find out what happens once the secret is revealed and how the characters cope with the secret.

I have another book by Liane on my kindle which I am looking forward to reading. Liane’s writing has you gripped with fear and curiosity that will see you turning page after page.
