Excuse me while I finish my cigarette and take a cold shower. This book exceeded my expectations. Clay was such a fierce and ultimately loving man. The whole story took place within a month or so (I guess) but the fact that they fell head over heels in love with each other felt believable to me. Clay told Melody that they knew each other before they met and I felt that too.
Vegas. The window. Holy shit.
I've heard that that the 2nd book (Romeo and Jules) is better than the 1st. If that is true I should jack up the air conditioner now and put the kids in a room with a supply of goldfish and juice boxes.
