Fractured Legacy by Skye Cahallan is a ghost story about a girl and dark secret that has been haunting her. The story starts off with the sisters Kaylyn and Cole on an assignment for work. When things don't go as planned and the assignment they were on gets messed up they blame Kaylyn for her lack of attention but something is going on with her and she's keeping it to herself. When a new guy is appointed her boss and the girls are under evaluation all hell breaks lose and they need to figure out what is going on before it's to late.

I thought this was a book about an investigation in an old hotel but it turned out to be a haunting story that had a lot of twists and turns. The characters are written wonderfully and the story one of those that is hard to put down. I would have like to see more of a romance between Kaylyn and Jonah they had good chemistry. Hoping something comes of it on the next book. This book isn’t that long so it's easy to read rather quickly and feels like you read a full-length book. It's great!

I gave these book 3.5 stars. (Marked on goodreads as 4 stars since I felt it was closer to 4 than 3) It is a great scary read for October and will give you a bunch of twists. It's a great story for anyone looking for a good scare. I really looking forward to reading more from Skye Cahallan and I can't wait for the next book!!!
