Fantastic start to the new X-men, that got changed in House of X/Powers of X. Go read that first before starting any of the 2019/2020 X-men books.

Loved the art and the interactions between different people. I know it will probably change, but I love seeing the X-men as a group happy, they desire it after this last decade or so. I do want their hopeful nature to stay, if something does change.

It might seem when reading this book that these stories in each issue are contained or not finished, but knowing Hickman they are going to go up at some point in the future for bigger things.

The ending was amazing and I can't wait to find out what happens next in Vol 2.
