More Than Neighbors (Blackberry Bay, #1)

More than Neighbors was a great start to Stacey's new series set in Blackberry Bay! I enjoyed Cam and Meredith so much, and of course, Meredith's daughter Sophie, plus the dog Oscar and the cat Elinor.

What started out at neighbors who annoyed each other more than a little bit grew into friendship, lots of sexual tension, and a sort of relationship over the course of a summer. Cam was trying to come to terms with learning he had another family than the one he grew up with. All the while still trying to be a good son to the only father he had ever known.

Meredith had moved back to her hometown two years after becoming a widow, and she felt the stirrings of something when she met Cam.

I loved the tentative friendship Cam and Meredith had at first, and also the relationship they both had with Sophie. Of course, the animals also truly brought something to the story that touched me.

I can't wait to get to know more about the other people in Blackberry Bay in the near future.
