2015 tbr challenge

SO many complaints, I'm not sure where to start.

1) Be warned, this book is SUPER short. That means everything happens super fast. In fact, the time span might be over a year, but the actual "screen time" (the time we get to see) is merely a week.

2) Seth is kind of idiotic jerk. First of all, he drives drunk. Not once, either, considering ALL his friends know that's his thing when he's drunk. They try to stop him, but he doesn't. That's, like, the biggest turn off ever. Can't really like him after that. Then, I agree with Noah; Seth's a little piss of sh*t. Instead of running away like that, he should have put his big boy boxers and stayed with his girlfriend to repent. To be there for her. But nope, it's all about him. Urg.

3) They never abhor drunk driving. Hayley forgives Seth. They never talk about the drunk driving shit--no character, even he himself, gernes even a promise of never doing that shit again. He never speaks of his current drinking habits--for all we know, he might still be doing it--it feels like this ginormous part is just swept under the rag. Like it's not really important because it's just there to move on the plot. But you can't throw that sh*t into the story and then not address it properly. It's like you're saying it's okay. IT'S NOT OKAY.
