I received an ARC through NetGalley.

What is the Recipe for Attraction? Two parts dominant personalities, one part street racing, and a dash of culinary arts. I was definitely expecting some tension based on what we learned about Neil and Carson in the first book, but dang. That was intense. Carson is the lead designer for Neil's upcoming restaurant, but the two butt heads like crazy. Then she turns up at a street race he's competing in, and he claims his winning kiss from her. Carson cannot stand the idea of Neil putting his life at risk, so perhaps she can distract him from his urges with other urges.

Recipe for Attraction was super duper uber steamy! Like, there is a lot of sex, and sometimes it gets dirty! Nothing too out there or kinky, but definitely not just standard Romance novel sex. Neil needs to channel his grief and anger into something, and he fell into street racing. Carson has some experience in that department, so she knows how dangerous it is. Thus their deal is formed. Whenever he's feeling anxious and wants to ride, she'll be waiting and he can ride her instead!

Other than amazing sex, Recipe for Attraction has a pretty good plot involving Carson trying to prove to her father that she's fit to take over his company while warding off advances from a creepy coworker. I really liked how that worked seamlessly into the relationship drama without feeling forced or over the top. Yes, it's predictable, but I believed it and enjoyed it.
