This was an okay read. Subdued, short and easy read. I'm not really sure what to say about this book because it didn't inspire much emotion in me. It was just okay: I wasn't outraged even though I felt sorry for Jared I wasn't overjoyed once the happily ever after came around. It was just, for lack of a better phrase-- meeh.
A good author keeps a reader entertained. A great author captures a readers attention with her words, manipulates her emotions and keeps her eagerly reading until the very last words then leaves her weeping wishing for more when the book comes to an end.This book was reviewed by a member of the review staff at Cocktails and Books.
