I only read the story by Jeaniene Frost. This is the first story of her's that was not about Bones and company. I was not sure if I would like it or not. I have read books from authors in the past where I only liked characters in that series. I could not stand anything else they wrote. That is not the case here. I loved this story. It did have a few twists and turns. Also has good character development, especially considering that this story is only 156 pages. Many times, I do not like short stories unless it is part of a series. There is just not enough time for character and story development. Here Jeaniene Frost brings a whole new story, with a new species and all new characters and they story is still great. I really enjoyed this story. Now the upsetting thing is that I do not have more of this story to read.

I did not read any of the other stories. My TBR list is entirely too long at this time.
