Giganta and Wonder Woman team-up? Okay, I certainly wasn’t expecting that one, even if they didn’t try to hide it at all (look at the cover). Last I checked these two were not big fans of one another. Then again, things can change. Especially when circumstances become dire.
I feel like this issue was more setup than anything else, but that’s okay. As long as the next issue provides everything they’ve promised us.
As for the Waller cameo…can a brief cameo legitimately make one shiver? Because I feel like the answer is yes. I guess she hasn’t been quite as overplayed as I had been thinking.
