What I Liked
· The characters! All of the characters, especially Hilary, were so relatable. I totally got her struggle with striving to be a straight-A student while also trying to simultaneously balance that with her bidding romance with Grayson. Honestly, when I went into the story with the knowledge that it's set in another country other than mine, I was worried that I might not be able to connect with the characters as easily as I was hoping. The way Belle wrote it, however, made it super-easy! Which brings us to . . .
· The Australian setting! Honestly, as sad as it is to say, it's very rare that I get to read books set in other countries. I loved how the author incorporated the lifestyles of average Australian teens into the story and stayed true to the Australian spelling of words. An author's note is actually included within the book about this, which I thought was very nice :)
What I (Kinda) Didn't
· The story felt a little rushed? Honestly, it kind of felt like I was whizzing through the book to find out the ending while not really focusing too much on what was happening in the background. This one really might have been just me, though, as I have a tendency to speed-read books that I enjoy!
Overall- 4 stars! Definitely put this one on your 2019 TBR - would easily recommend :D
