This was a good second installment to the series. I wasn't sure how I would feel towards Patrick after getting to know him in Matt and Lauren's story. He's a cranky man who seems to have control issues, but after getting a bit more of their family history, it's not surprising.
Andy is a very serious woman who has spent a lot of her life protecting herself while pushing people away. She was studying Architecture and came across Patrick's article's about restoring buildings and she fell in love. Her main aim when finishing off her studies was to get an apprenticeship in Patrick's firm and work with him.
They met each other and felt an instant attraction.
Lots of talking themselves out of a relationship because of their work, until they can't fight their attraction anymore. Andy wants to keep the relationship a secret. Patrick's feeling grow deeper as they get to know each other and he wants their relationship to be more than just sex.
Some messy relationship stuff happens which cause some dramas.
Lots of sexy bits, with some great laughs as well as some sad bits.
Another great story and I will definitely be reading more from this author.
