From a narrative perspective, the book was simple and joyful. It flowed really well, had a great message and the characters were unique caricatures of the animals that they represented. I'm still waiting for my actual copy to arrive, so I listened to the audio version, and Jim Parsons did a fantastic job of narrating it.
I wrote a little blog post about the book which takes you through to purchase and donation pages for The Trevor Project and AIDS United which you can read here: http://iblamewizards.com/a-day-in-the-life-of-marlon-bundo/. Not only does A Day in the Life of Marlon Bundo have a great message, but the proceeds also go to two great causes.
While the release of A Day in the Life of Marlon Bundo itself is a political statement, it genuinely is a lovely children's book.
