I thought that this book was thoroughly entertaining and a nice light read. I love a book that is set in my home state of Massachusetts! Double bonus for me that the setting of the book is on a cruise to Bermuda that sets off from Boston. I have been on that very same cruise! This was such a fun feel good story, Summer and her parents going on a cruise with her brother's best friend Graham, who happens to adore Summer's quirky but loveable parents but it is evident to me early on in the story that he may have a thing for Summer, well I hoped he did. Graham is the perfect male romantic lead, good-looking, well-mannered, fun and wealthy. I really liked the way that he tries to get Summer to step outside of her comfort zone and do new and exciting things. The book is a bit predictable but I enjoyed the overall hilarity of Summer and her parents antics. The author did a great job of making all of the characters in the book likable, in fact I am hoping that there will be a sequel to this book.

Would I recommend this book? Yes, this is a quick fun read, take it to the beach or on vacation. This review was originally posted on
