I’ve been really enjoying seeing Tony go back his roots a bit more, and I absolutely adore the fact that he’s researching and questioning his humanity. It’s the sort of theme I adore, and it fits in really well here in this context.
That being said, I feel like the series has been really jumping around lately. First they introduce (sorry, reintroduce?) Tony’s brother, but then they sort of just dropped that. Now we’re dealing with a plot that’s spent mostly in the digital world that Tony built…it’s a little chaotic.
Then again, Tony can be a force of chaos when he wants to be…so there’s that. I like the idea of Tony dealing with some less physical threats, and for all I know this plot and the brother plot are more connected than I realize. So I’m just going to wait it out and see how this goes.
