My Review:

I don’t even know where to start, Shivers is one of the most fantastic characters I have ever had the pleasure of reading. He is so adorable and in a complete panic. I can’t get enough of him and plan to grab every shivers books that comes out. Shivers is back and in Bunny Slippers, he is being called out by the Mayor to help get the torch back that was stolen in the last book. Only problem is Shivers has no idea where it is and the Mayor just stole his boat house. Shivers doesn’t do very good on adventures, he’s a pirate that prefers to stay on land. With the help of his friend Margo and his fish first mate Albee they set off on an adventure to find the torch and get his house back.

Shivers is scared of pretty much everything and can even make, making popcorn sound terrifying. This book was so cute and just like the first one, I loved every minute of the adventure I went on with Shivers and Margo. I laughed so hard and cheered Shivers on often, you would think for a middle grade book things would go smoothly but nope not for Shivers once you think things are about to get better, BAM, something else happens and Shivers is freaking out all over again. I love how just when you think he is about to be brave he explains why what he is doing scared the heck out of him, to funny.

I adore Shivers and love going on adventures with him. I look forward to seeing where Shivers goes never. This is a fun series for all ages and even though Shivers is mostly panicked, you can really seem him overcome some of his greatest fears and I think that is a great lesson for kids young and old. I love this series, something I recommend reading, you wont be disappointed and the illustrations are so fun too.
