Sweeter Than Sin by Amelia Wilde

Sweeter Than Sin (Richer Than God, #2)

by Amelia Wilde

I fell in love with the city’s cruelest billionaire. He broke my heart.

That’s the awful truth at the heart of our story. I fell for him, and he let me go.

The nightmare I tried to run from chased me down and caught me in its clutches.

Now my survival rests in the hands of that mean, beautiful monster.

I don’t mean anything to him.

But he means everything to me.

I really liked this book. I liked learning about Zeus' past and what happened to him to make him so hesitant with Brigit. I still love Zeus and I think he's great in this book just like the first. I like how strong, powerful, confident, and willing to take on anything he is. I like how the cliffhanger from the first book was resolved, even though this book again ended in a bit of a cliffhanger. I'm excited to see what happens in the third book now because of that.

The only issue I had with this book is that I didn't really understand some of what was happening. I imagine in her other series they're about Hades and Persephone more, but since I didn't read those first I didn't know much about them. I'll most likely read those after this but I did feel like I was missing something.
