BETTING ON IT was such a fun book. Blair and Sawyer were funny and hot together and despite the change to their relationship (friends to lovers) you knew these two were going to be good for one another if they could just be honest about their big issues.

Blair was scrapping by at a temp job in an ad agency trying to build a solid foundation for herself away from her controlling family. She relied on her best friends knowing they would be there to support her, even if she falls. But she should know it would be her best friend that would push for her to move on from her past and become the person she was meant to be, which includes a sex bucket list that her long time running partner, and her best friend's cousin, Sawyer is only too happy to help her work through.

It was hard not to like Blair and Sawyer, but the two of them together was perfect. The friendship that had built was a great foundation to their new relationship. Despite the rules Blair put in place to protect herself, she was falling for Sawyer and discovered he was the person she wanted to reach out to with news, whether good or bad. She wanted to be there to support him and help him with his own issues, even if she wasn't sure he could share it with her. They just made sense together and the chemistry between them was smoking hot.

I look forward to more in this series. Violet Blake is an author who is new to me, but her voice and writing style was definitely one that I enjoyed. I'll definitely be looking forward to more from her.
