Initial Thoughts: Spazzy plot, grumpy protagonist, and painfully moralizing tone. More a didactic text on accepting death than a fairy tale or adventure. Would possibly recommend to a child needing to learn to cope with a dying family member, not to someone who wants to read a good book.
