Prepare to be amazed as two teams of Colors and Shapes compete for the top prize at a spectacular talent show! Which team deserves the spotlight? Colors can really mix it up, but nobody stacks higher than Shapes. How will the judges ever pick a winner? Ultimately, author-illustrator Mike Boldt reveals the amazing things that can happen when Colors and Shapes come together. A follow-up to 123 versus ABC, this zany picture book is a fun introduction to simple but important concepts, and a stepping-stone to basic geometry.

Last year I discovered [a:Mike Boldt|496698|Mike Boldt|https://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1412311148p2/496698.jpg] in his book [b:123 versus ABC|16248110|123 versus ABC|Mike Boldt|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1384259559s/16248110.jpg|22276955] . My opinions are the same! This is definitely a book for animated out loud reading. It's fun and will be even more fun if your child can read one part and you the other. Letters A-Z and numbers 1-26 and maybe a re-read with colors last time and this time Colors and Numbers judged by the letters, numbers and alligator. I love how this goes to tertiary colors and complex shapes beyond the basics. Oh the learning possibilities!!
