Growing up with a favorite book of my childhood as [b:The Berenstain Bears Go to the Doctor|728471|The Berenstain Bears Go to the Doctor|Stan Berenstain|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1344368989s/728471.jpg|3247111] and in recent years my girls new favorite being [b:Corduroy Goes to the Doctor|270110|Corduroy Goes to the Doctor (lg format)|Don Freeman|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1388542829s/270110.jpg|1312694]. It is fun to add in more characters with reassurance that going to the doctor is a good and healthy thing to do.

This is a good introduction for kids that are not familiar with visiting the doctor. From kids that are scared of the unknown, seeing the rooms of the doctor's office, the step by step procedure, to a sticker finish.
