Kitten's First Full Moon by Kevin Henkes

Kitten's First Full Moon (My Arabic Library)

by Kevin Henkes

It is Kitten's first full moon, and when she sees it she thinks it is a bowl of milk in the sky. And she wants it. Does she get it? Well, no, and yes. What a night! This brave young kitten sets out into the world on a quest that leaves her bruised, bewildered and hungry, but that ultimately leads her back home, where something special is waiting just for her, in a story that is by turns hilarious and heartwarming. With stunning black-and-white artwork, a simple text and an adorable kitten character, this picture book has all the makings of a modern classic.

Snatched his one up from the library the other day when I cleared out their Kevin Henkes books in the easy reader section. Cute, all black and white with big words (font). I think it would make a decent read for a first read aloud I. an early reader. Even better for people who have or enjoy kittens and cats. I'm not going to rush out and buy this one, but I wouldn't hesitate to get it from the library again.
