"Fell." He feeds the word into the space between us like a morsel of truth. "You're making me feel, princess. And that's the most dangerous thing of all."

Aiden is on a mission to find out who killed his parents. After fourteen years serving with La Famiglia, he is eagerly awaiting the names of his parents' killers when he is told there has been an amendment to the agreement and he must wed Issa Dubov, the daughter of a Russian mafia leader. As secrets start to come out, all bets are off.

Black Skies Riviera is my first book by Catherine Wiltcher and I am still fairly new to mafia romances. I enjoyed the story and the twists and turns. Aiden was witty but a little over the top at times and Issa seemed like she was always trying too hard at whatever emotion she was trying to convey. By the end of the book, they were good together but it took a bit to get there.

Gregory Salinas did a good job as a British character. This was my first experience with Elisabeth Russell and I enjoyed her as a narrator. Both narrators did a good job of bringing the story to life.

Rating ... 3.5 Maple Leafs
Genre/Trope ... Mafia Romance, Dark Romance, Crime Romance, Arranged Marriage, Virgin Romance, Romantic Suspense
POV ... First-Person (Aiden and Issa)
