I kept reading this series because I was desperate to know what happened with Adam after the ending in Beneath His Stars. The conclusion to this duet left me feeling less than satisfied. Adam will desperate for revenge, but he never got it. Did the whole story about his mom ever get out? Were the bogus charges against him dropped? I was left with more questions and didn't feel like Adam and Liv really could move forward with a HEA without clearing all that up, considering it kept them apart for 10 years.
