So, this was a pleasant surprise. At first, I wasn't so sure because frankly, reading about a woman who grew up in a trailer with a crazy alcoholic mother, good for nothing brother and an ex husband who beat her... Well not a feel good book for me. Anyhoo, once we meet Horse and discover that he is not as much of an ass as we think....things get better. Solidly written, so it was an easy read.
