I don't write reviews for everything I read these days. I'd be remiss if I didn't write down my thoughts on Jessica Peterson's new release, Southern Seducer. I've loved everything she's written and I've sensed a piece of her in every book. But Seducer truly feels like she opened up a vein and poured her heart and soul into it.

Peterson's main characters, Beau and Annabel are going through some very heavy stuff. While the topics are dense, postpartum depression and CTE, the story doesn't feel overwhelmingly angsty. I absolutely adored Beau and Annabel together...first as best friends and as stupid hot lovers. (It certainly helps that my Beau was JJ Watt.) SWOON.
I loved the WHOLE freaking Beauregard family and the setting of the North Carolina mountains. This is a series that I know I'll be completely obsessed with. Now...when will the next book be available?
